How It Works


  • Confirm the size of your solar system (size of all of your panels combined not the size of the inverter) although this is a good guide if your unsure.


  • Complete a online subscription with the services that you wish to use – If there is any reference of person that referred you across to solar monitoring please put in the form.


  • You will receive a automated email to confirm subscription has been successfully lodged.


  • Within 7 days solar monitoring will go through your details and confirm that your details are correct, you may receive a phone call and in some instances a site inspection


  • Solar monitoring will confirm your ability to monitor your system if you have chosen this option and if available organise details for our ability to monitor your system – If not available we can discuss options available.


  • Once monitoring is made available for solar monitoring we will start monitoring your system for you, we have access to error codes and double check all systems on our portal regularly to obtain production is within the expected output levels.


  • If your production is inline with expectations and everything is going to plan your maintenance program will continue as per arrangement – If there are any discrepancies we will be alerted and notify the clients.


  • If your system is running like clockwork then solar monitoring will notify around 9 months into your subscription and work towards booking in your annual panel clean and preventative maintenance service.


  • Once booked our servicing team will complete the works on your property and complete a checklist to advise how the system is working and advise of any maintenance work that is recommended – If serious works are required for safety reasons our service team will advise on the day.


  • A copy of the report will be emailed or left on site for the client and any questions about the system and report are welcome.

Once you have made the decision to trust Solar Monitoring and Servicing to look after your system, it then becomes our responsibility to look after your system for the next year. If you have chosen our monitoring service we guarantee a reasonable production and monitor this to achieve a good return on your investment.

If you find a fault on your system before solar monitoring does , whether this be an inverter fault code or an issue with a isolator we are here to assist in a timely manner. We have a dedicated email and phone number.
